2025/03 – Nether Seal Successfully Obtains PED Certification

In March 2025, Nether Seal’s RSBV products successfully passed the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) certification of the European Union and were awarded an H-module certificate by LRQA, an internationally authoritative institution. This achievement marks Nether Seal’s official qualification for market access in the EU, with its product quality and technological prowess receiving international authoritative recognition.

As a core component of the EU’s CE certification system, PED certification is a mandatory safety regulation for pressure equipment entering the European market. Covering a full range of pressure equipment from low-pressure storage tanks to high-pressure reactors, the directive requires manufacturers to strictly adhere to safety standards throughout the entire process of product design, production, and testing, ensuring that product performance meets standards throughout its lifecycle. Renowned for its complexity and stringency, the certification process involves multi-dimensional audits by third-party institutions on the quality management system, production processes, and product performance. From March 17th to 19th, a senior audit team from LRQA conducted a comprehensive review of Nether Seal in accordance with the requirements of PED 2014/68/EU. The audit scope covered key aspects such as on-site production management, quality system operation, and product testing records. After rigorous evaluation, the expert panel unanimously concluded that Nether Seal’s product design is scientifically sound, production processes are standardized and controllable, and product quality is stable and reliable, fully meeting the PED certification standards. The successful pass of this audit not only serves as authoritative endorsement of the company’s technological capabilities but also provides directional guidance for its continuous improvement.
